Who we are

Blickpunkt24 is an independent British news publication covering domestic and international affairs across politics, economics, technology, science, sport and culture. We are headquartered in London and operated by a small team of experienced journalists and editors committed to accurate, impartial and readable reporting.

The name Blickpunkt — German for "focal point" or "point of view" — reflects our founding conviction: that good journalism is not just about gathering information, but about focusing attention on what matters and explaining why. The 24 stands for the round-the-clock nature of modern news — and our commitment to keeping pace with it.

Editorial Standards

Blickpunkt24 adheres to the standards of the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) and the Editors' Code of Practice. Our editorial decisions are made independently of our commercial operations. Advertisers have no influence over editorial content.

Our team

Blickpunkt24 is staffed by journalists with backgrounds across British national newspapers, broadcast media and digital news organisations. Our correspondents are based in London, Brussels, Washington DC and Nairobi.

We do not publish bylines for all staff as a matter of policy, but all named authors take personal responsibility for their work and can be contacted via the newsroom.

Blickpunkt24 is supported by display advertising. Advertisements are clearly distinguished from editorial content at all times. We do not accept sponsored content or native advertising that could be mistaken for news reporting.
